Famously known as one of the most memorable train wrecks in NC history, the Bostian’s Bridge Train Wreck claimed the lives of 23 people in 1891. Since the wreck, there have been reports of paranormal activity along the tracks. The bridge is still in use today and continues to be a route many trains take while on their journey.
