Town of Apex recently issued the following announcement.
Drive Through Red, White & Blue

We’re excited to capture a little piece of our annual Olde Fashioned Fourth of July event with this year’s Drive Through Red, White and Blue event!
We’ll kick things off in the traditional way with a flag raising at 10am on Saturday, July 4th, followed by a decorated car processional through downtown Apex.
Because staging space for vehicles is limited to 200, registration is required for this free event. Participants must live in Apex town limits or ETJ.
While we’d love for everyone to be able to celebrate together, this processional is not intended for spectators along Salem Street, so please do not plan to gather downtown to watch. But if you happen to be downtown for other reasons, be sure to wave to passing cars!
