The latest movie from filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, “Police State,” is coming to a Morrisville movie theater for two days

The latest movie from filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, “Police State,” will be shown at a Morrisville movie theater on Oct. 23 and Oct. 25.

D’Souza expressed his surprise at the need for this movie, stating, “I honestly wouldn't have believed, prior to the 2020 election and prior to Biden coming to office, that I’d be making this movie... Which really shows that we have seen a speedy introduction of the police state on many different levels.”

The film, titled "Police State," explores what D’Souza describes as the roots of government "police state" activity. It touches on events such as the implementation of the Patriot Act after 9/11, the COVID lockdowns, social media censorship, the prosecution of parents at school board meetings, and the surveillance and detention of individuals who were in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021.

The movie features D’Souza himself, along with actor Nick Searcy, and interviews with U.S. House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R), radio host Dan Bongino, and several government whistleblowers.

The film's trailer has already garnered 74 million views on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The specific screening of "Police State" in Morrisville will take place at AMC Park Place 16, located at 9525 Chapel Hill Rd, with showtimes at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on both Oct. 23 and Oct. 25. In addition to Morrisville, the movie will also be shown in other cities such as Atlanta, Brunswick, Columbus, Savannah, and more.

For those interested in attending the screening or finding out more about other showings, additional information can be found on the movie's website.
