This month, Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space and Wake County Public Health are teaming up to promote the importance of walking and heart health!
Throughout February, which is #AmericanHeartMonth, each of our parks and preserves will feature a trail ideal for a heart-healthy hike. Look for the sign at the trailhead, and scan the QR code at the beginning or end of your walk. Fill out the short online form, and you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a Year of the Trail/Heart Month prize pack! And don’t miss the health tips and stats located on additional signs along the trail – it’s always a great time to improve your heart health.
