Did you know that tomorrow, July 4, is #FreeFishingDay in North Carolina? It's true!
This #IndependenceDay, anyone in North Carolina, regardless of age, will be able to fish for free. Free Fishing Day offers residents and visitors the opportunity to fish without having to purchase a license; however, all other fishing regulations apply, such as length and daily possession limits, as well as bait and tackle restrictions. Thanks, NC Wildlife Resources Commission!
Wake County parks and preserves that offer fishing are:
Blue Jay Point County Park
Harris Lake County Park
Historic Oak View County Park
Historic Yates Mill County Park
