Triangle J's Area Agency on Aging Aims to Help Our Region "Spring into Summer"

Summer

The Triangle J Area Agency on Aging (TJAAA) has joined with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and organizations across the state to help our community enjoy a safer spring and summer. Together, we can educate people of all ages on why it is important to stay up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccines and boosters—especially children and teens.

TJAAA is proud to take part in Spring into Summer. The campaign offers a fun, flexible and community- centered approach to encourage wellness through vaccinations and the routine medical care many people have put off during the pandemic. Other participants include small businesses, community organizations, health care providers, faith and other community leaders, and people from across the state.

The campaign kicks off on March 22 and runs through the end of summer. The Triangle J Area Agency on Aging continues to build on their Covid-19 outreach efforts throughout the pandemic. TJAAA will continue to help individuals find and schedule vaccine appointments, provide Covid-19 information materials, and work with qualified health professionals to host updated Covid-19 webinars within our communities.

If you would like to get involved or need assistance, contact Blake Matthews, Covid-19 Outreach Coordinator at bmatthews@tjcog.org or (919) 627-0080.

We hope you will join us in encouraging people to safely spring into summer as they enjoy activities they love and all the fun of spring and summer.
