Wake County recently issued the following announcement.

Creepy Crabtree

Explore the darker side of nature at Creepy Crabtree on Saturday, Oct. 19! The event is a unique opportunity to celebrate the creepy things that make Halloween great while learning about wildlife native to our area. This free, family-friendly festival features:

Eerie exhibits

Creepy crafts

Gruesome games

Petrifying prizes

Freakish fun

Each of the park’s three shelters will feature a different theme—stop by and get grossed out by barf, insects and spiders, or bloodsuckers and parasites. And discover what you can learn from these seemingly shocking subjects.

Creepy Crabtree runs from 2–6 p.m. at Lake Crabtree County Park. Learn more at wakegov.com/creepycrabtree.
