Wake County issued the following announcement on Sept. 17
This fall, Wake County Board of Elections will provide seven early voting locations to enable residents of Raleigh and Cary to cast their votes before the Tuesday, Oct. 8 municipal elections for the City of Raleigh and Town of Cary.
These early voting sites will be open from Wednesday, Sept. 18 through Friday, Oct. 4. Times will vary and are detailed here.
Locations include:
Glen Eden Pilot Park Neighborhood Center
Method Road Community Center
Green Road Community Center
Millbrook Exchange Community Center
Herbert C. Young Community Center
Roberts Park Community Center
Wake County Office Building
“We want to ensure that everyone that’s eligible to vote has an opportunity to do so,” said Gary Sims, director, Wake County Board of Elections. “We are well prepared for our fall municipal elections and hope that we have a new record for voter turnout in a municipal election year.”
In addition to casting their vote early at these early voting sites, individuals may also register to vote as well as update their name and address before voting. For more information on early voting in Wake County, visit WakeVotesEarly.com.
