Wofford Terriers fall to Mercer Bears 9-8 in NCAA Division I softball on March 28

At 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, Lauren Archambault—a former Apex Friendship High School standout—helped the Wofford Terriers in their NCAA Division I softball game, but the team fell short 9-8 against the Mercer Bears.

The matchup was held at Sikes Field. It marked their second game versus the Bears this season. Earlier in the day at 1 p.m., the Terriers defeated Mercer 11-4.

Archambault contributed two hits from three at-bats, scored one run, had two runs batted in and drew a walk.

Wofford is set to play the Bears again on Sunday, March 29, at Sikes Field.
