The UCLA Bruins, led by former Panther Creek High School standout Jolyna Lamar, claimed a 7-2 win over the Washington Huskies in an NCAA Division I softball game at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25.

The matchup, held at Husky Softball Stadium, marked their second faceoff with the Huskies this season. The previous contest on Friday, April 24, saw the Bruins win 7-5.

Lamar notched one hit in her three plate appearances.

The Bruins are set to play the Huskies again at Husky Softball Stadium on Sunday, April 26.
