On Tuesday, April 1, former Apex Friendship High School standout Avery Kiger’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Anderson Trojans.
The game took place at Anderson Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Trojans this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Jimmy Martin Field against Limestone Saints.
