The Holly Springs Town Council recently allocated $20,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations. These funds are intended to assist nonprofits that contribute to the community’s welfare by aligning with the Council’s strategic aims and enhancing existingTown services. The grants support activities that promote overall community well-being. Nonprofit organizations in the area have the opportunity to apply for this funding once each year.

The grants were distributed among several organizations. The recipients include Holly Springs Community Band, YMCA Camp GRACE, and Western Wake Crisis Ministry (WWCM), each receiving $2,500. InterAct was awarded $2,000. The Holly Grove Middle PTSA received $1,500, while several groups – For Girls Like Quaneisha, Holly Springs High School PTSA, Center for Volunteer Caregiving, Hawktimus Prime, Holly Springs Youth Orchestra, Military Missions in Action, and Nepal Center of North Carolina – were each granted $1,000. Lastly, $500 was allocated to the Holly Springs High School Band Boosters, Holly Springs Civitan, Holly Springs Interfaith Alliance, and BeShe Inc.
