Summer Game Fest 2025 continued with its annual showcase, hosted by Geoff Keighley. The event focused on upcoming video games, providing a platform for developers to present their latest projects.
Among the highlights was Fortnite’s “Galactic Battle V: Death Star Sabotage,” featuring space combat elements and rewards for players participating in the limited-time event starting June 7, 2025. Hideo Kojima presented a trailer for “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach,” revealing that the pandemic influenced its themes.
“Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds” introduced a kart-racing adventure with characters from various franchises, while Section9 Interactive debuted “End of Abyss,” an atmospheric action game. Embark Studios announced an October 30 release date for “ARC Raiders,” set in a dystopian future.
Chrono Studio showcased “Chrono Odyssey,” an MMORPG powered by Unreal Engine 5, and Kur Games highlighted version 2.4 of “Wuthering Waves.” Netmarble Corp’s “MONGIL: STAR DIVE” will begin its beta on June 20.
“Out of Words” was revealed as a co-op platformer with a stop-motion style, and Nuverse Pte’s “Crystal of Atlan” announced a collaboration with One Punch Man from June 26 to July 26. Frontier Developments’ “Jurassic World Evolution 3” will be available on October 21.
“Dying Light: The Beast” is set for release on August 22, expanding Techland’s franchise with Kyle Crane returning as the protagonist. Build a Rocket Boy’s first game, “MindsEye,” is slated for release on June 10.
A crossover between Hitman and James Bond was announced, featuring Le Chiffre from Casino Royale in a new mission available now. Cubit Studios’ “Infinitesimals” showcased small-scale exploration during the event.
Street Games presented “Last Flag Night,” blending gunfights with capture-the-flag gameplay. Brass Lion Entertainment’s debut title, “Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver,” featured high-flying combat sequences.
Leenzee’s Soulslike RPG, “Wuchang: Fallen Feathers,” is set during the Ming Dynasty and will be released on July 23. Finally, Splitgate 2 from developer 1047 Games launched today with a new Battle Royale mode.
