On Tuesday, March 18, former Southern Wake Academy standout Chris Crudup’s current collegiate team the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears won 76-74 against the UNC Pembroke Braves in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center, this was the first game against the UNC Pembroke Braves during the championship.

Chris Crudup’s hometown is Garner.
