The North Carolina Football Club, which manages the North Carolina Courage of the NWSL and North Carolina FC of the USL Championship, has announced a new partnership with Jump, a fan experience platform tailored for professional sports teams. This collaboration positions the Courage and NCFC as pioneering direct-to-consumer professional sports teams.
The club will utilize Jump's platform as its primary fan engagement tool, encompassing ticketing, sales, a team mobile app, and tools to enhance fan experiences both inside and outside the stadium. Fans will benefit from having one account for purchasing tickets, merchandise, or food without additional fees.
"Innovation is in our organization’s DNA and something we strive for when thinking about our relationship with our fans," said Ralph Vuono, COO of North Carolina Football Club. "We saw an opportunity to be on the frontier of sports technology and couldn’t be more excited to implement Jump’s capabilities."
Jump's software eliminates ticketing fees and offers flexibility for dynamic sports organizations. It was developed with input from executives across various major leagues to empower clubs in managing their fan relationships.
"We’re thrilled to partner with the North Carolina Football Club as Jump’s first professional sports team partner," stated Jordy Leiser, CEO and co-founder of Jump. "This partnership marks the beginning of a new era in pro sports in which teams do business and engage directly with their fans."

The North Carolina Courage began playing in 2017 after being relocated from New York by Steve Malik. They have achieved significant success in NWSL history with multiple league trophies. Meanwhile, North Carolina FC started competing in 2007 under different league banners before adopting its current name following Malik's acquisition in 2015.
Jump was founded by Marc Lore, Alex Rodriguez, and Jordy Leiser in 2021 and is supported by several venture firms.
