Town Facilities to Close in Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Cary, NC – Town Hall and most staffed facilities will be closed on Monday, January 15, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Curbside collections will be delayed by one day for the week of January 15, and the Citizen’s Convenience Center will be closed. GoCary will operate at Sunday service levels, with Door to Door being Tier 1 only. Cary 311 will be closed for calls on January 15; citizens can submit non-emergency requests online 24/7 at carync.gov/311 or by email to 311@carync.gov.

Like other Cary parks, Downtown Cary Park remains open daily, as well as Downtown Cary Park Guest Services, The Bark Bar, and Market 317. Cary Action Sports will be open from noon to 8 p.m.

All Cary citizens are invited to the Town’s annual Dreamfest weekend events, a celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 12-15. Most events are free and available to the public. Description and details are available at carync.gov/dreamfest.
