Cary, N.C. – Cary Town Hall and most staffed facilities will be closed Monday through Wednesday, December 25-27 for Christmas and January 1 for New Year’s Day. Curbside collection will move one day forward for the week of Christmas and New Year’s Day. GoCary will not operate fixed route or door-to-door services on Christmas Day. Cary 311 will be closed for calls December 25-27; citizens can submit non-emergency requests online 24/7 at carync.gov/311 and by email to 311@carync.gov.
Like other Cary parks, Downtown Cary Park remains open daily through the holidays. Downtown Cary Park Guest Services, Bark Bar and Market 317 will close December 24-27 and January 1. The Chinese Lantern Festival at Koka Booth Amphitheatre runs nightly throughout the holidays except for Christmas Day through January 14. Ticket information and schedule can be found at boothamphitheatre.com. While outdoor courts remain open, the Cary Tennis Park Clubhouse will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, with limited hours December 24 and December 31.
When disposing of natural and artificial Christmas trees using yard waste service or bulky pick-up respectively, please remove all decorations and lights prior to placing curbside for your scheduled pickup.
