Election Day for Cary's Municipal Election; Voter ID Now Required

Cary, N.C.– Election Day for Cary’s Municipal Election takes place on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Four races for the Cary Town Council (Mayor, District B, District D, and At-large) will be decided by voters on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Voter resources, including a polling place search tool, can be found on the State Board of Elections website. County-specific details are also available on the Board of Elections websites for Wake County and Chatham County, which manage Cary's elections.

Beginning this year, an accepted form of photo ID is required to vote in North Carolina. There are many accepted forms of photo ID. For more information, visit the North Carolina State Board of Elections.
