The Cary is proud to be a partner organization with CatVideoFest. CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. Ten percent of ticket sales will be donated to The Goathouse Refuge in Pittsboro. Tickets and information.

Film: Tiger Within (NR)

A story featuring an unlikely friendship between a homeless teen and a Holocaust survivor, sparking larger questions of fear, forgiveness, healing and world peace, starring multiple Emmy Award-winning actor Ed Asner in his final performance. Tickets and information.

Comedy Night with Kevin McCaffrey and Brian McGuinness

Don’t miss your chance to see top touring comedians at The Cary! Kevin made his network TV debut on The Late Show with David Letterman, after which he was chosen by Letterman to be the show’s warm-up comic. He is a current regular and 2-time champion of truTV’s Comedy Knockout, and appears every week on truTV’s Greatest Ever series, and truTV Presents: World’s Dumbest. A veteran of the NYC comedy scene for over 18 years, Brian recently made his move down to Raleigh. He’s appeared on Inside Amy Schumer and The Jim Gaffigan Show, and numerous commercials as a voice-actor. His laid back, yet hilarious brand of silly comedy will leave audiences crying of laughter. Cary Downtown Farmers Market

200 E. Chatham Street, Downtown Cary, 8 a.m. to noon

Join the Cary Downtown Farmers Market at its temporary location at the parking lot of The Perfect Piece each Saturday. Find a wonderful lineup of vendors offering all locally made and locally grown items. Shop for freshly harvested produce, humanely raised meat, and artisan-made goods. Stop by the info booth to learn about their matching program for SNAP/EBT. Children can also get their very own Farmers Market Passport and participate in the Eat-A-Rainbow program, which encourages children to eat healthy, nutritious foods. Parking for the new location can be found at the public parking lot behind the Methodist Church (off Walker St. and Waldo St.). Support beginning farmers and learn more about Cary’s commitment to regenerative agriculture by volunteering at our urban teaching farm. Registration required.

Laurie Berkner Live: The Greatest Hits Solo Tour

Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 11 a.m.

A portion of the proceeds donated to the WakeMed Foundation to benefit WakeMed Children’s services. Pack your picnics and get ready to sing and dance with the “queen of kids music” at Laurie Berkner's “Greatest Hits” solo show. You’ll hear classic songs like “Bumblebee (Buzz Buzz),” “The Goldfish (Let’s Go Swimming),” “We Are The Dinosaurs,” as well as newer hits like “Waiting for the Elevator,” “My Bunny Goes Hop,” and “Chipmunk at the Gas Pump”. Film: Exhibition on Screen: Tokyo Stories (NR)

Based on a major exhibition at the Ashmolean in Oxford, Tokyo Stories spans 400 years of incredibly dynamic art – ranging from the delicate woodblock prints of Hokusai and Hiroshige, to Pop Art posters, contemporary photography, Manga, film, and brand-new artworks that were created on the streets. Film: Trolls World Tour (PG)

Poppy and Branch discover that there are six different troll tribes scattered over six different lands. Each tribe is also devoted to six different kinds of music — funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. When rockers Queen Barb and King Thrash set out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save the diverse melodies from becoming extinct. Wake County 2023 U.S. Army Be All You Can Be Clash

WakeMed Soccer Park, 4 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

For the first time ever, American football will be played at WakeMed Soccer Park this weekend!
