On Saturday, Aug. 12, American Majority will be holding a training event for anyone who has thought about running for office, helping on a campaign, or is just curious to find out more about the political process. The event will be held at the Maverick Solutions Conference room at 3150 Rogers Road, Ste. 200 in Wake Forest.

According to a release from American Majority, the organization will be hosting a free training event in Wake Forest to help citizens who want to learn more about campaign strategies and how to run for office. The event, Campaign Strategies 101, will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 at the Maverick Solutions Conference room at 3150 Rogers Road, Ste. 200 in Wake Forest, NC.

American Majority is the nation's premier conservative training organization, according to the organization's website. They are engaged nationwide in activating and training grassroots conservative leaders as they believe "lasting political change starts not in Washington, but at state and local levels, where most actual government decisions and spending occurs."

Organizers say that the event is aimed at "ordinary citizens" who are tired of the status quo and ready to get engaged and even potentially involved in the political process.

According to the NY Post, a poll from earlier this year showed that 74% of Americans believed that the United States was on the wrong track.

American Majority's training is to help address citizens' political passions, and likely their frustrations, by equipping them with the resources and education they need to get involved in the political process themselves. The organizers say that "[i]f you are running for office, have ever thought about running for office, helping with a campaign or understanding more about the political process, plan on attending this event to learn what candidates need to do in order to win."

Thousands of activists are trained each year, according to American Majority, to be catalysts for authentic government change in their communities.
