Let's go! Run with Elementary Students. | Runners World
On Monday morning, students from Washington, Conn, Fuller, Powell, Zebulon, Poe, and Hunter Magnet Elementary Schools braved the chill to compete in the annual Wake County Magnet Track Meet at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High.
Every spring for more than 4 decades, the Wake County Magnet Track Meet has showcased the track and field skills of our magnet students. Participating students take a track and field elective at their school to hone their skills, training in running events ranging from 100m to 800m, the 4 x 100m relay, and two field events: the mini-javelin and long jump.
