Students enjoyed a day of sports and all. | EdSource
Students with special needs at Carver Elementary enjoyed a day of sports, encouragement, and visits from the mascots of the Carolina Hurricanes and Carolina Mudcats Baseball Club! The event was made possible through adaptive sports equipment purchased by the Unified Champion Schools program with Special Olympics NC. A huge shoutout to Ms. Sarah Scott for organizing the day's activities and presenting the program to give these students an amazing experience!
