Congratulations to the winners of the 2023 SHED (Student Hands-on Experiences Day) build competition! Heritage High School, Wakefield High School, and Leesville Road High School all placed for their work in constructing sheds under the guidance of professional builders. The sheds were then auctioned off to raise funds for CTE scholarships. These students gained hands-on experience in construction this week, with some even receiving job offers!
Students from Rolesville High School and Millbrook Magnet High School also took the top 3 places in the VOLT (Vocational Occupation Learning Trade) event, which involved learning and demonstrating safe electrical engineering skills.
