As #TeamWake celebrates #BlackHistoryMonth, we’re sharing the personal profiles of Wake County leaders who truly embody what it means to honor diversity, inclusion and equity in service.
Today’s featured profile is Wake County Board of Commissioners Chair Shinica Thomas, who is most proud of “my husband and I being married for 28 years, and having raised two Black sons who are amazingly productive citizens right here in Wake County.”
