On Friday, Wake Early College of Information and Biotechnologies celebrated their opening as WCPSS's newest Early College. Guests heard from speakers including District 7 Board of Education member Chris Heagarty and Wake Technical Community College president Dr. Scott Ralls about how students attending the school will receive an advanced education into career fields like cyber security and biotechnology. The Mavericks will even have the chance to graduate with a full Associate in Applied Sciences degree!
