Swift Creek Elementary Celebrates its 90th anniversary
A family reunion. This is how some people described Saturday's celebration at Swift Creek Elementary School. The school celebrated its 90th anniversary with a parade, dancing, and a tour of its 66-year-old gym. Alumni gathered in the original gym, viewed old photos, and shared memories. We even met a family who had four generations attend Swift Creek Elementary. Thanks to our building program, demolition will begin this summer so that a brand new facility can be built to serve our students. The goal is to welcome staff and students back to the brand new Swift Creek Elementary campus in August 2025.
