If you want to free up some space on those bookshelves and help children in need at the same time, you're in luck. Tomorrow, Wake County Public Libraries kicks off its second annual book drive to benefit Wake Up and Read. Your new or gently used books can help kids succeed!
The book drive runs throughout the month of September. Simply bring your books to any Wake County Public Libraries location during regular business hours.
During WCPL’s inaugural book drive in 2021, library visitors donated more than 12,000 diverse, engaging and visually appealing books! Let's beat that number in 2022.
