Wake County EMS is now accepting applications for its 2023 EMS Cadet program!
Launched in 2020, the Wake County EMS Cadet program prepares high school-aged students for a career in EMS. The program gives students a close-up look at EMS training and emergency response through regular formalized instruction and EMS ride-along shifts. It runs the calendar year from January through December, and participants meet on Wednesday nights.
This is a competitive entry program, and the application period closes Sept. 30.
