This week, the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) recognized our COVID-19 community outreach team at their annual conference and awarded them the Innovative Practice Silver Award for the work they did to needs of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The application, Using an Innovative Evidence-Based Approach to Ensure Equitable COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution in Wake County, was peer-reviewed and found to reflect effective community partnerships and collaboration as well as remarkable adaptability, resilience, and innovation.
