Enloe Excels in International Computer Science Competition

Enloe Magnet High School students recently excelled in the annual American Computer Science League, with seven teams and 28 individual students attaining perfect scores. A total of 155 students qualified for the All-Star Finals being held online tomorrow, May 28. 

The American Computer Science League is an international competition with hundreds of participating schools from the United States, Canada, Korea, United Kingdom, France, China, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Romania, Croatia, Turkey,  Slovenia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Egypt.

Each team can consist of up to 20 students. Due to Enloe’s large Computer Science Department, Enloe submitted 11 teams to three separate divisions - Senior, Intermediate, and Junior Divisions.

In the three divisions, only 15 teams in the world had a perfect score. Enloe had 7 of the 15 perfect score teams:  Senior (2 of 3 teams), Intermediate (3 of 7 teams), and Junior (2 of 5 teams). Of the remaining teams, three others placed in the top 10 in the three divisions as well.

Enloe students individually had 28 perfect scores: 11 students in the junior division, 8 students in the intermediate division and 9 students in the senior division all attained perfect scores.

Hannah Wang, Jeffrey Wang, Kavin Sankar, Kevin Sun, Leo Hubbard, David Giang, Joseph Wan, Rohith Madhuker, 

Senior Perfect Scores

Avi Pandey, Benjamin Edwards, Eric Song, Kenny Zhang, Liam Doak, Nithin Sivakumaran, Raghav Arun, Rohit Singh, Vaibhav Patil.
