City of Raleigh issued the following announcement on December 7.

Join Raleigh Parks on the pitch for Spring Youth Soccer. New this season, we are offering leagues at both Peter Williams Park (1525 Lynn Road, 27612) and Sanderford Road Park (2623 Sanderford Road, 27610). All games and practices will be held at the league location.
Our Youth Soccer Leagues are for boys and girls aged 4 to 8 and of all skill levels. These leagues are intended to promote the interest in soccer among young athletes and teach the fundamentals and rules of the sport. All teams are coached by trained and certified volunteer coaches. Participants will experience playing in a team sport with an emphasis on sportsmanship, fair play, and fostering a love of the game.
Ages*: 4–8 with the breakdown into leagues (see below)
Fee: residents $60; non-residents $75 (fee includes a jersey with matching socks)
*Age as of 8/31/2022
Leagues:
U4: 4 yrs. (Saturdays only)
U6: 5–6 yrs. (Saturdays with a possible weeknight practice)
U8: 7–8 yrs. (Saturdays with a weeknight practice)
