WAKE 4-H CLUB: Parent & Family Advocacy and Support Training to be Held November 4

Wake 4-H Club recently issued the following announcement.

Parent & Family Advocacy and Support Training

Durham County Center

Wed 11/4 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

DESCRIPTION:

PFAST is a fun, no-cost training that explains how to navigate the public school system. During the training we talk about a different themes related to how to transform the educational experience for your child. This year's sessions will also include topics related to supporting your child's education during virtual learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the Fall of 2020, PFAST will be offered virtually through a Zoom webinar platform. You will be able to access the classes via telephone (audio only ) or computer/smart phone/tablet (for full video and audio). Prizes and incentives will be offered to families each week. The English language training takes place on Wednesdays from 530 -6:30 PM over 7 weeks from September 23-November 4.
