Town of Rolesville issued the following announcement on Mar. 16.
The Town has reopened the payment drop box at the front of the building. Residents are encouraged to use this drop box instead of entering the building to make payments. Town officials are urging residents to limit their visits to Town facilities as much as possible by taking advantage of services that can be handled over the phone or online.

Community health and safety is a top priority for the Town of Rolesville. Residents are encouraged to monitor updates on the Wake County COVID-19 webpage. Town leadership is in close communication with Wake County and State officials and will follow their lead in minimizing the risk of spreading the virus.
Effective immediately, the Town of Rolesville is suspending athletics practices and games, including youth baseball, softball, and soccer programs, until April 6. We do not approve or support coach or parent led training sessions during the suspension period.
All parks and recreation programs and classes will be cancelled until April 6.
The Town is also cancelling the following events: Coffee with a Cop on March 14, Litter Sweep on March 28, Egg Rush on April 4, Spring Concert on April 4, Rec Day on April 18, and Arbor Day on April 24.
All Town facility rentals scheduled between March 16 and April 6 are cancelled. No additional reservations will be taken for that time period.
Town officials are urging residents to limit their visits to Town facilities as much as possible by taking advantage of services that can be handled over the phone or online. Check for alternate methods of payment listed on your utility and tax bills.
The Police Department will maintain the necessary staffing levels to safeguard the well-being of the community. Citizens wishing to report a non-emergency incident are encouraged to utilize the Rolesville Police Department’s website to access the online reporting service. If you have an emergency please call 911.
The Town Board’s upcoming meetings are still proceeding as planned. Members of the public are encouraged to follow the proceedings via livestream, available through the Town’s YouTube channel.
