This workshop will lead participants from investigating the benefits of trees in our urban communities to discovering forests and their uses around the world. This workshop is ideal for educators working with students in grades 6-12. Please bring a bag lunch.

All workshop participants will receive the Places We Live and the Forests of the World PLT secondary modules through sponsorship from our partner, the NC Forestry Association. CEU renewal credits will be offered. This workshop qualifies for Criteria I or continuing education in the NC EE Certification Program.

Please make a personal commitment to attend to ensure there are enough materials and space for everyone. Cancellations made by the registration deadline will receive a $10 refund. Cancellations after this date will not receive a refund.
