Local Government

By Press release submission | Nov 28, 2019

Town of Knightdale recently issued the following announcement.

Please see the changes and new schedule of events for this year's Christmas Lighting and Parade.  The Parade and Lighting will be on the same day, we are turning the parade around and it will be a lighted festival, during the evening!

Saturday, December 7th

The Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 4:30 PM and we will light the tree at 6:00 PM at Knightdale Station Park!

The Christmas Parade will begin at 6:30 PM on Knightdale Station Run and continue down     First Ave. to Fayetteville Street.

We are encouraging groups to be very creative this year with the entries - as it will be dark, be sure to light up your group!  We would like to see tons of Christmas lights, glow sticks and anything else that shines bright in the evening to make this the most spectacular Christmas Parade ever.
