On Saturday, April 19, former Panther Creek High School standout Layla Lamar’s current college team, the Florida Gators, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The game took place at James G. Pressly Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Crimson Tide this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 6 p.m. at James G. Pressly Stadium against South Florida Bulls.
