On Saturday, April 12, former South Garner High School standout John Yancey’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Erskine Flying Fleet.

The game took place at Grier Field. This was their second matchup against the Flying Fleet this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1:45 p.m. at Grier Field against Erskine Flying Fleet.
