On Wednesday, April 2, former Apex High School standout Will Newton’s current college team, the Stonehill Skyhawks, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks.

The game took place at Lou Gorman Field. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Skyhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Lou Gorman Field against Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.
