On Saturday, May 10, former Apex Friendship High School standout Avery Kiger’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at 5:45 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against North Georgia Nighthawks.
