Middle Creek High School standout Leah Gore’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Friday, March 28

On Friday, March 28, former Middle Creek High School standout Leah Gore’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the James Madison Dukes.

The game took place at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park. This was their second matchup against the Dukes this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park against James Madison Dukes.
