On Saturday, March 29, former Middle Creek High School standout Leah Gore’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the James Madison Dukes.

The game took place at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park. This was their third matchup against the Dukes this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 3 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park against James Madison Dukes.
