On Sunday, May 18, former Panther Creek High School standout Layla Lamar’s current collegiate team the Florida Gators won 8-0 against the Mercer Bears in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium at 1:05 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Mercer Bears in the tournament.

The Florida Gators’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
