On Saturday, April 12, former Cary Academy standout Lawson Wheeler’s current college team, the Elon Phoenix, won 10-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Towson Tigers.

The game took place at Walter C. Latham Park. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Phoenix’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Walter C. Latham Park against Towson Tigers.
