Holly Springs 311 has seen significant growth in its second year, with increased usage and efficient response times across town departments. According to George Brown, manager of the Office of Customer Care, registration for the service rose by 65% compared to its first year. Daily call volume went up by 32%, and service requests increased by 37%.
Brown stated that residents now wait an average of just 18 seconds to speak with a representative, and most service requests are resolved within a few business days. He also pointed out that Holly Springs is the smallest municipality in North Carolina to implement a successful 311 system.
