The Town of Holly Springs has announced that Ting Park will revert to its original name, North Main Athletic Complex, as the naming agreement with Ting Internet comes to an end this year. The change marks the conclusion of an eight-year partnership during which Ting Internet held the naming rights for the park and stadium.

Originally opened in 2015 as North Main Athletic Complex, the facility was renamed after Ting Internet purchased naming rights in 2017. Over those eight years, Ting contributed just over $1 million to Holly Springs in exchange for these rights. This funding supported various town services and initiatives. Additionally, Ting provided internet service at the complex.

Assistant Town Manager Daniel Weeks commented on the relationship between the company and the town: “Ting Internet has been an exceptional partner for the Town of Holly Springs,” said Weeks. “We are pleased that, with over 775,000 visitors coming to the complex each year, the naming rights proved to be such a successful and valuable opportunity.”

Although the park’s name is returning to North Main Athletic Complex while future options are considered, Weeks confirmed that Ting’s internet service will continue operating in Holly Springs.

“We are tremendously grateful for Ting’s support of the Town for so many years, and we look forward to working with the company in the future,” he said.
