The Holly Springs Cultural Center will soon feature new seating as part of an upgrade funded by the voter-approved Parks Bond. The project includes the installation of new chairs, a carpeted platform to help reduce noise during events, single chair mounts, and wider aisles for added comfort and stability.

Installation work is set to begin in the coming days and is expected to finish later this month. The upgrades are timed ahead of the center’s fall performance season and the return of free movie screenings.

“We’re thrilled to be able to provide a more comfortable seating offering that will make performances in the Cultural Center theater even more enjoyable for everyone,” said Holly Springs Parks & Recreation Director LeeAnn Plumer.

Free movies at the theater will resume this fall, starting with “The Good Dinosaur” on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m.
