Downtown visitors in Holly Springs should expect construction activity until mid-August due to the replacement of an HVAC unit at Town Hall. The building will remain open as multiple HVAC systems serve it, allowing services and scheduled meetings to continue without interruption. During the construction period, access to Town Hall will be limited to the front entrance on Main Street. Accessible parking is available at Mims Square Parking Lot along Main Street.

The small parking lot behind Town Hall will close for a few days from late July through early August for construction staging. A crane will be used to remove and replace the HVAC unit in the attic. Meanwhile, the larger parking lot beside Town Hall, adjacent to Mims Towne Square, remains open, but access may only be available from Avent Ferry Road at certain times during June as preliminary work begins.

For finance-related matters, while transactions can be completed online, customers who prefer paying utility bills in person can visit the Finance office. Additionally, check payments can be deposited in a silver drop box located next to Town Hall’s side parking lot.

Permitting and development services are accessible through the Town’s online portal. Residents and businesses can apply for permits virtually or seek assistance from Development Services staff available at Town Hall. Development inspections will proceed as planned. For inquiries, call 311 or (919) 577-3111 if outside town limits.
