Former South Garner High School standout Oliver Zohn played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former South Garner High School standout Oliver Zohn’s current collegiate team the Lander Bearcats lost 13-8 against the Young Harris Mountain Lions in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Newman Park at 3 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Young Harris Mountain Lions in the tournament.

The Lander Bearcats’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 3 p.m. at Newman Park.
