On Friday, May 23, former Panther Creek High School standout Layla Lamar’s current collegiate team the Florida Gators won 6-1 against the Georgia Bulldogs in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs in the tournament.

The Florida Gators’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 24 at 11 a.m. at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
