Cotton Incorporated has released new versions of its well-known jingle, “The Fabric of Our Lives,” aiming to connect with younger audiences while maintaining the familiarity that has made it recognizable across the United States. According to a 2025 Harris Analytics survey of more than 1,550 U.S. consumers aged 18-34, 70% of those familiar with cotton fabric associate the tagline “The Fabric of Our Lives” with cotton.

The updated jingle is now available on popular streaming platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon, and is being promoted through paid social media campaigns during the holiday season. The organization plans to introduce additional renditions in 2026, including anthemic, pop, and country versions.

Anne David, director of advertising at Cotton Incorporated, stated: “The new versions of The Fabric of Our Lives jingle blends nostalgia of the original with a modern vibe. Cotton’s ads connect with people wherever they are, on streaming or social media, using real-life moments. The jingle is the common thread, reminding everyone of the comfort and style cotton brings every day.”

Cotton Incorporated describes itself as a not-for-profit research and promotion company for Upland cotton. It is funded by U.S. cotton growers and importers and oversees more than 450 research and educational projects annually in areas such as agricultural innovation and market analysis.

The organization’s marketing efforts include “The Fabric of Now,” a platform designed to keep its messaging current within The Fabric of Our Lives campaign ecosystem.
